Opal Group organizes conferences for senior executives and decision-makers across industries. We welcome its recommendation as we work together to recognize people who contribute to the family office and private wealth community.
Founded in Silicon Valley, Open Future Forum brings together CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, CISOs, private equity leaders, founders, investors and AI leaders. Our work includes private executive gatherings, open events, peer discussions and original research, giving participants opportunities to exchange experience and build relationships throughout the year.
For us, a trusted executive community is built through what people do for one another. It might be an introduction that helps someone solve a problem, a candid conversation about a difficult decision, or an experienced leader making time to help a peer.
Opal’s recommendation is a welcome acknowledgment of that work and of the members, speakers and partners who make it possible.
Recognizing Contributions to the Family Office Community
The five new awards will recognize individuals whose leadership extends beyond their own organizations.
In its announcement, Opal Group emphasized the expertise people share, the relationships they build and the support they provide to others. The awards will celebrate those contributions among the families, advisers and investment professionals joining the forum in Napa.
That focus makes this a natural partnership for Open Future Forum. We believe the people who help others succeed deserve recognition, including those whose contributions happen through personal introductions, practical advice and sustained support.
Award categories and recipients will be announced soon.
Murray Newlands to Chair the Napa Forum
Alongside the awards partnership, Murray Newlands will serve as conference chair for this year’s Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum West.
The conference takes place at the Napa Valley Marriott Resort & Spa and will bring families and investment professionals together to discuss topics including private equity, venture capital, technology, impact investing and the trustee-beneficiary relationship.
Murray’s involvement brings Open Future Forum’s focus on executive peer relationships to the gathering. The awards provide an opportunity to recognize the people who help those relationships develop and make the wider community more valuable to its participants.
